Exploring retailing within Delivery
A key highlight of our participation is the "Retailing within Delivery" workshop. This session, exclusively for airline executives and transformation leaders, promises a deep dive into the intersection of retailing and delivery. The workshop will explore how airlines can integrate retailing opportunities within the delivery phase of OOSD.
Participants will learn about simplifying retailing processes, integrating ground operations, and expanding product catalogues. The aviation industry is undergoing a profound transformation, with the shift from operation-centric Departure Control Systems (DCS) to commercially focused Delivery Management at its core. In addition to the workshop and keynote, we will also share our vision at a panel discussion, "Delivery – beyond the DCS". This session will explore the evolving role of Delivery in an OOSD world, questioning whether it will remain a subset of Order Management or emerge as a commercial system in its own right. The panel will include industry leaders like Rosario Phillips from LATAM, Jeff Jones from Southwest Airlines, and Ian Tunnacliffe from T2RL, alongside our Chief Information Officer, Victor Alzate.
