A technology expert with 20 years of experience in travel technology joins Ink Innovation to help develop the next version of its platform.
José Luis Santamaría has joined Ink Innovation as Chief Technology Officer. José will oversee the company's technology and engineering teams.
With over 20 years of experience in both travel and technology, he has held senior leadership roles at Plain Concepts and Globant, managing projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and collaborating with airlines such as Air Europa, Iberia Express, Emirates, and Qatar Airways. His focus has been on the latest airline technologies, booking systems, cloud-based solutions, and ensuring smooth operations.
José has built and led teams of up to 300 engineers, remaining actively involved in technical aspects. He is recognised for making complex technical decisions understandable for business needs.
His expertise in large ecosystems, distribution, software architecture, integrations, and agentic AI makes him well-suited to the direction Ink is heading.
