José Santamaría has joined Ink in 2026. He leads the company's technology and engineering teams.
 
José has spent over two decades working at the intersection of travel and technology. He has held senior leadership roles at Plain Concepts and Globant, running EMEA-wide portfolios and delivering programmes for carriers like Air Europa, Iberia Express, Emirates, and Qatar Airways. His work has consistently sat at the sharp end of airline technology, NDC and Offer-Order modernisation, cloud-native architecture, and high-availability operations across teams spanning Europe, the Middle East, and South America.

José has built and led teams of up to 300 engineers while staying close to the technology and has a track record of bringing commercial clarity to complex technical decisions.
